TARIFA GUIDE

Your Ultimate Guide to Tarifa for kitesurfing, restaurants and more.

Nestled at the southernmost tip of Spain, Tarifa is a coastal gem that beckons adventurers and sun-seekers alike. Known for its fierce winds, picturesque beaches, and vibrant culture, this charming town has captured the hearts of many. As a dedicated kitesurfer who has frequented Tarifa numerous times, I'm excited to share my insider's guide, not only on the best spots for kitesurfing but also on the fantastic restaurants, cozy cafes, and unique shops that make this destination truly special.

Tarifa is a world-renowned kitesurfing haven thanks to its consistent winds, making it a paradise for kite enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a newbie looking to learn, you'll find a spot for your skill level.

Must-visit kitesurfing spots like Playa de Los Lances, Valdevaqueros, for smaller waves you got spots as Canos de Mecca, located just under a hour away from Tarifa by car.

For the more experience riders you got Balneario spot that is located a stone throw from Tarifa center, on a strong windy Levante day you can enjoy the show from the pier, watching pro riders put down a spectacular show and enjoy the stunning views of Morocco across the Strait of Gibraltar.
